Airport Transfers
Airport transfers from Dalaman Airport to Ovacik are only 55 kilometers (roughly 1 hour). You have a couple of options, you could get a private transfer/taxi or a shared shuttle transfer.
It’s better to discus this with us when we confirm your booking as we know a few of the transport companies and will no doubt be able to get you a better deal.
Ride The Dolmus
The Dolmus is basically the bus service in Turkey but it works a little differently, it’s a great way to travel around Turkey for very little money indeed.
They run on predefined routes as a bus would and you’ll know one when you see it because it looks like a little bus, the majority are plain Mercedes Sprinter Minibus’s. When you do see one you simply just put out your hand, and they will stop and pick you up. Prices are fixed price based on where you are going, these are located above the driver, the drivers have good enough English to know where you want to go and will have change for notes.
Please note, there are no obvious indications of where you are at any point so it is strongly advised that you know where you have to get off.
Take A Taxi
Getting a taxi couldn’t be any easier, it’s simply the press of a button! Yes there are Taxi buttons dotted around that you just press and then wait for a taxi, you can also go to a taxi stand if you see one.
The closest taxi button to the villa is just on the corner of the villa block here but basically if you walk out of the villa to the left and follow it round for 60 seconds you’ll see it, or there is a Taxi Office a short walk up the lane to the main road, it’s on the corner facing the Mirage Restaurant here, from the villa it’s again out to the left, then follow the road to the main road at the top.
